Land acknowledgement

In this time of reconciliation, we honour and acknowledge that we are on the traditional Treaty 7 Blackfoot Territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy. This includes Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations; as well as the Tsuu T’ina First Nation; and the Iyarhe Nakota people of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Good Stoney First Nations. We acknowledge that this territory is also home to the Otipemisiwak Metis government of the Metis Nation within Alberta Districts 5 and 6. We acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non-Indigenous – who live, work and play on this land. We are all Treaty people.
