Crime Prevention Team
The CPS Crime Prevention Team is an integral part of our commitment and plays a key role in providing information to the public, empowering them to take pro-active steps to prevent crime.
The Crime Prevention Team specifically focuses on:
- home and personal safety
- business and commercial safety
- fraud and cyber safety
- social disorder and community issues
The Crime Prevention Team researches, develops and delivers crime prevention programs in support of evidence-based policing on these and other topics:
- fraud
- property crime
- theft
- robbery
- online safety
- drug education
- Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
