Crime and traumatic events often have both primary victims (those who have experienced direct injury, loss or trauma) and secondary victims (those impacted by the repercussions of a crime or traumatic event, including witnesses, friends and family).
If you have been a victim of a crime or traumatic event, help is available from the Calgary Police Service and other support agencies.
