Identification is required when applying for a Police Information Check
Acceptable Identification
Please have 2 pieces of original government issued identification (ID) - one must be photo ID
Acceptable valid government issued photo identification:
- Driver’s License or Provincial Photo Identification Card (If above ID is outside of Calgary, you will be required to provide proof of residency. NOTE: Interim Driver’s Licenses are Not accepted.)
- Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- Firearms License
- Nexus Card
- Secure Certificate of Indian Status Card (Federally issued)
- Aviation Document Booklet
- Refugee Protection Claimant Document – Certified
For minors between the ages of 14 to 15 who do not have any of the above photo identification, we will accept your student photo ID card.
Acceptable valid government issued non-photo identification:
- Provincial Health Care Card
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
- Immigration Papers
- Citizenship Card
- Citizenship Certificate
