Hit & run / Traffic collisions

Currently, Report My Collision only supports non-injury collisions in addition to the following collision types:

  • Single-vehicle collisions
    • Example: Your vehicle hit an animal, hit an object, or ran off the road.
  • Two-vehicle collisions (two drivers only)
  • Parked vehicle hit and run collisions
    • Where no witness information or any supporting evidence is available.

For all other types of collisions, in-person reporting at a district office is required.

  • No police required if damage is UNDER $5,000
  • If vehicles are NOT drivable, call 403-266-1234

Found property

If property poses a danger to the public, such as weapons or drugs, call 403-266-1234

Civil matters

CANNOT be reported online.

Civil matters are legal disputes between individuals or businesses and includes disputes over contracts, property, injury, damages, and other matters not involving a criminal offence.
